Patchwork Hooded Duster Coat – Sewing Pattern PDF

Knee-length duster coat • Women XS to 4XL • Hood • Long sleeves with turned cuffs • In-seam pockets • Channel quilting • Bias binding • Instant PDF download

A long hooded duster coat in patchwork, quilted in straight vertical channels and framed by one continuous contrasting binding from hood to hem. Its relaxed open front makes it easy to layer over knits on cool days. It is a statement coat you sew yourself, patch by patch ✨

You quilt flat panels first, then cut the coat out of them like fabric. Dropped shoulders mean the sleeves go in flat — no set-in sleeve to fight — and the outer edge is bound in one continuous mustard line, so there is no separate lining to sew. A few mustard and plaid accent patches and turned-back mustard cuffs finish the look.
