This one is sewn. A segmented pumpkin body that holds its round shape, a padded handle stitched into the side seams, and a full lining so nothing catches on a sticky wrapper. It gets used every October for years and it ends up in every photo.
The pattern gives you two looks from the same pieces: the classic black jack-o'-lantern with an orange lining, and the soft cream "ghost pumpkin" version. Same construction, completely different mood — make one for each child and nobody argues about whose is whose.
