PDF quilt pattern · Appliqué Halloween table runner · Intermediate · Full-size templates and photo instructions · Instant download — no physical item shipped
Most Halloween table runners are a row of repeated motifs. This one is a single image running the length of the table.
A bare black tree grows from one end, its branches curling out across the whole runner, with jack-o'-lanterns caught in the boughs and bats lifting off the top corner. A small haunted house sits at the base. The background is pieced from cream and ivory prints so the black silhouette has something to read against, and the whole thing is finished with a solid black border and binding.
It's raw-edge or turned-edge appliqué — your choice — over a pieced background, then quilted. The appliqué is the work; the piecing is straightforward.
Because it's one composition rather than a repeat, the runner reads as a piece of art on the table rather than as seasonal placemat filler. Which is why people keep it and use it every October rather than replacing it.

- Download instantly. Your files arrive the moment your order is confirmed — nothing is shipped.
- Piece the background. Cream and ivory prints, joined into the runner base.
