PDF quilt pattern · Appliqué flower block quilt, multiple sizes · Beginner · Full-size templates and photo instructions · Instant download — no physical item shipped

Sixteen flowers, every one in a different fabric, every one on a different background — and the only thing holding it together is that all sixteen centres are the same colour.

That's the whole design logic. The tan circle at the heart of each flower repeats in every block, and it's what turns sixteen unrelated colour combinations into a quilt rather than a pile of scraps. Everything else can clash freely, which is exactly what makes it fun to make.

Each block is a square of background fabric with six petals and a circle appliquéd on top. No piecing inside the block, no points to match, no seams to align. If you can cut round a template and stitch an edge, you can make this quilt.

It's a scrap-buster in the truest sense: bold prints, polka dots, gingham, checks, florals — the louder and more mismatched, the better it works. Fabric you've been saving because it was too much for anything else has finally found its home.

⚙️ How It Works

  1. Download instantly. Your files arrive the moment your order is confirmed — nothing is shipped.
  2. Print the templates at 100%. Check the test square — the petal size sets the block size and everything else follows.
  3. Make one block. Background square, six petals, one centre. That's the whole technique learned.
  4. Repeat, join, quilt. Make as many blocks as your chosen size needs, join, quilt and bind.
