One pattern piece makes the whole bag. The strap is cut in one with the body, so it curves straight up out of the bag with no seam to dig into your shoulder, and the two strap halves are joined over the top so it sits as one neat, wide band. It's fully lined, a thin line of lining shows round the opening, and two twill tapes tie into a soft bow to close it.

Wear it either way out: plain canvas on the days you want plain, floral on the days you don't.
