Children's Quilted Scallop Coat – Sewing Pattern PDF

Child's quilted coat • Sizes 2Y to 10Y • Rounded collar • Scalloped hem • Pocket openings • Elastic cuffs • Snap closure • Instant PDF download

A little quilted coat in light blue floral, with a rounded collar, slanted pocket openings, elastic cuffs and a sweet scalloped hem. Straight channel quilting keeps it soft and simple to sew. It is a coat made for twirling ✨

You quilt flat panels first, then cut the coat out of them like fabric. The fronts, the scallops, the pockets and the neckline are bound with strips of the same floral, so every edge looks soft and neat, inside and out.

Questions makers ask

Do I need a special printer?
Nope! Every pattern is tiled to print on a regular home printer using standard A4 or US Letter paper — just tape the pages together and you're ready to cut. Prefer no taping? Each pattern also includes a large-format A0 file you can send to a copy shop, plus a projector file if you sew with one.
I'm a complete beginner — can I do this?
Absolutely. Our patterns are designed to be beginner-friendly, with clear, illustrated step-by-step instructions that guide you through the whole process.
How do I get my pattern after I buy?

Can I sell what I make?
Yes! You're welcome to sell finished items you make from our patterns. We just ask that you don't share, resell, or redistribute the pattern files themselves.
What sizes are included?
Each pattern comes with a full size range and a detailed size chart so you can pick your perfect fit before you start. All sizes are layered in the file, so you only print the size you need.
